Pick a path and the devices. The panel updates live to show whether each of the three features is covered, the cost, the honest limits, and what is possible. Prices are 2026 indicative figures, confirm by quote.
Constraint: prefer in-market software. Each feature names the off-the-shelf product that fulfills it. Where no product fits, it says build in-house and names the SDK we would build it with. The hardest gap is the ±1-2 cm measurement, where no in-market product publishes that accuracy on any device, so it is always a build or a rough estimate.
Features 1 & 2 (share, translate):
With self-build allowed, the test for share and translate becomes whether the device exposes the APIs and lets you deploy a custom app. Open = freely buildable and deployable. Gated = needs the maker's enterprise approval. Blocked = the device will not run a custom app. For a full self-develop rollout, Android XR (XREAL Aura) is the open glass to build toward, see the self-develop path.

Translation is the phone running Gemini Live (free, two-way Japanese, Thai, and English). The 3D measurement is a small app we build in-house, run on the phone, and show on the glass.

This tool is a planning aid built from our 2026 research. Hardware prices are per worker and indicative. Software is quote-based for VSight and TeamViewer. The measurement app is in-house build effort, not a license. Device photos are representative of the product family.
